Once in a while, my husband & I will treat ourselves to the charms of dining out for Hibachi!  For those of you that perhaps have not experienced Japanese Hibachi, don't be fooled by the name.  I realize that generally anytime food is related to Japan, the first thing many people think is "raw fish"…well, I am hear to enlighten you about the "cooked" meals you can also order on the menu.

When reserving a seat for a Hibachi meal be informed that you are going to "share" a delightful, entertaining experience with several other people (that is right….at the same table).  And if you are as lucky as we were tonight, you will be seated next to a 2nd grader that should be the food critic for the New York Times.

Although we have been here to dine on several occasions, we have never quite had such a good time as tonight.  That is why for this article, "Rico Suavé" is our Guest Food Critic at Large.  Mr. Suavé easily gave our chef 8 "this food taste great", 5 "I love coming here to eat" & 6 "that was so much fun".  I think we can all agree that it's hard enough to get our kids to eat more than junk food…so I think we're on to something here.

Some of his favorite highlights of the evening would be the "broccoli toss" (which he caught in his mouth on the first try), the "flaming volcano" (of onions) & the performance of "the dancing egg".  He expressed so much excitement for the food & entertainment, it was hard for me to concentrate on my own meal.

Hibachi dinners are generally a choice of chicken, shrimp or steak…but you can also order lobster or a combination of two.  The meal comes with a ginger salad, miso soup and steamed rice (but fried rice is also an option).  All of the food is cooked right in front of you on a large grill, by an amazing chef with a great sense of humor.  A basic dinner for two with a couple of cocktails will generally run about $70.00 plus tip.  If you follow the link provided to Mt. Fuji, coupons are available to dine-in & take-out.

Mr. Suavé recommends that Mt. Fuji receive 4.5 out of 5 stars this evening.  Please follow the link to the restaurants website and read more about all the wonderful entrées to choose from on the menu.

All Denver, Littleton, Aurora, Castle Rock and surrounding areas of the Metroplex homeowners that can see the writing on the wall...you could possibly lose your home to foreclosure.  Are you confused about what to do?  Are you in denial and hope that when you wake up tomorrow this bad dream is going to be over?  Probably not going to happen.

So, are you willing to pull up your bootstraps and fight to keep your home?  If you are then read on...if you expect someone else to clean up this mess, good luck!

Recently, I was referred to a client that was 3 months behind on their house payments.  Of course with all the confusion about "bail out" money for homeowners, the inability to refinance off ARMS and then of course let's not forget the bank processors that don't even want to discuss that your loan is going into default...many homeowners don't even know where start to ask for help.

So, I decided that I would attempt to open the lines of communication between my client and the bank...what a nightmare!  After weeks of aggrevating phone calls, the preverbal run-around and several migranes I decided to seek other options.  It was then that I met by chance a company that deals specifically with loss mitigation...it was like the dark clouds had parted and the sun was shining down upon me.

The 2008 Costume Contest sponsored by TheDenverSource.Com was a smashing hit at Southlands Mall this year. The turn out of children was amazing and the costumes were wonderful. This trick or treating event has become a highlight in Southeast Aurora Colorado drawing children from Castle Rock, Parker and many other surrounding areas.

The Denver Source, along with Fidelity National Title & Kim Olson (Real Estate of the Rockies) has volunteered their time every year to this event. We believe that children should be celebrated and encouraged to participate in their communities.

Since 2006, Kim has been a Realtor® in the Southeast Aurora area. Her strong ties to the area have proven to be very beneficial to her clients. Although Kim isn't a native to Colorado, she has been a homeowner in Aurora since 1993. Kim is unique as a real estate agent; she not only has a sterling reputation for getting homes sold in 120 days or less, she also is the owner of Belle Maison (Beautiful Home) Marketing. Kim believes that "out of the box" marketing, along with proper home preparation is why she has been so successful.

Barb Hansen, who is with Fidelity National Title, met Kim a couple of years ago in passing and they have been unstoppable ever since. Both women share the desire to take care of their clients and be active in their communities. It is not often that you will find one and not the other. Kim & Barb make a perfect combination when it comes to real estate. Both ladies are extremely dedicated and want what's best for their clients.

That is why The Denver Source is proud to affiliate with both ladies; their devotion and dedication to the people of Aurora Colorado and Metropolitan Denver is nothing short of amazing.
