Winter Welcome

"Light the Town"

November 20th - 6 - 9 pm

 

Join us at the Stapleton Winter Welcome as we Light the Town for the holidays on November 20th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.  Stapleton's 29th Avenue Town Center will be bustling with activities and retailers will have their holiday goodies on display.  Plan to have dinner at one of the many dining establishments and don't forget to pick up your 2010 Dogs of Stapleton Calendar at the old Visitor Center location (7480 E. 29th Avenue), where you may just get to meet one of the "stars" of the calendar.

Stapleton Schools Update

DPS presentation to the Stapleton community

 

Recommended solutions to expanding the capacity at Stapleton's schools were presented to Stapleton residents on November 10, 2009.  The Denver school board will vote on these recommendations on November 20th.  Click here to see DPS' presentation.

 

 

 

Homebuyer Tax Credit Extension

Through April 30, 2010

 

Congress has extended and expanded the homebuyer tax credit through April 30, 2010, and the expansion  tax credit now includes homebuyers who are selling their current home and buying a new home.  For the 2010 rules published by the National Association of Realtors, please click here .  Stapleton builders have inventory that meet the requirement of closing by April 30, 2010 for first-time homebuyers or July 1, 2010 for previous homeowners (as long as a binding contract to purchase is in effect by April 30, 2010).

 

 

Stapleton Announces Funding for

I-70 Interchange Project

 

Stapleton welcomes the much needed I-70 interchange thanks to a partnership between the state of Colorado, the city of Denver and Forest City Enterprises to leverage stimulus money to fund the project. More info to come. Click here to read more about the funding sources.
